When is your service available?
Our office hours are 08.30 to 18.00 Monday – Friday. However, we are available to contact out of hours. Our face to face and telephone interpreting service is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

How do I book an interpreter?
You can book an interpreter by filling in one of our booking forms and sending it back to us with all the information required. You can send it back to us by fax +44(0)844 482 0475 or email.

Do I receive confirmation once the interpreter has been booked?
Yes, we will send you confirmation via fax, email or over the telephone and provide you with the name of the interpreter who will attend your booking.

How much do you charge for interpreting?
All prices are available upon request. Please email us for more information.

What is the cancellation policy for face to face interpreters?
We require twenty-four hours notice for cancellations (not including weekends or bank holidays). If you give us more than twenty-four hours notice, we will not charge for the booking. All cancellations within twenty-four hours incur a charge.

I would like to use the same interpreter I have previously used. Is this OK?
Yes, we are happy for you to request a specific interpreter and will send them subject to availability.

Which languages do you provide interpreters/translations in?
We provide interpreters and translators in over 180 languages, including many rare languages.

How much notice do you need for booking an interpreter?
For face to face interpreters, we can provide interpreters at very short notice, including where available, within the hour. For telephone interpreters, we aim to connect you to a telephone interpreter within 60 seconds. If you require a BSL interpreter, we do ask for at least three weeks notice as there is a national shortage of BSL interpreters and they do get booked up well in advance.

How do I apply to join Prime Production Limited as an interpreter or translator?
Please email us your CV or check our recruitment section and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If I send you a document to be translated, how long does it take to be returned?
We aim to return translations within two-three working days. However, that does depend on the length of the document and how technical the document is. We will let you know when we receive your document how long it will take to complete. If we feel we will be unable to meet your deadline, we will let you know immediately.

How much do you charge for translations?
We charge based on the English language word count of the document. Prices are available upon request. We are happy to provide you with a quote and await your approval before commencing with any translation.
